I need a really good book to read?

I love the twlight books and i love teen romance with some sort of dark side to i. I am kind of in a some what "dark time" just upset about things and want a good book to get into. Not too much into th romance but more into mystery or something scary. I just read a book about a serial killer and the girl in the book could contat ghost, so something along those lines. So if you have any ideas that would be great. Thank you
