Is black dagger brotherhood series suitable for a 14/15 year old?

Hey i've run out of stuff to read and i was wondering if the BDB series was any good? Ive heard they are very sexual but are they too much so? Ive read sookie stackhouse series, succubus blues series and others and they were fine. Any other books that are good would be appreciated, thanks :)
